Using a Small Nightstand Table is another combination method that will replace a dresser and save you a good portion of floor space. Like all other alternatives, simply rely heavily on your closet to take care of larger clothing and then use a nightstand to store lighter clothing articles, such as undergarments.

Nightstand Bedside Table The great thing about nightstands with storage drawers is they are dual purpose–not only allowing you access to storage space, but also offering you the ability to display memorabilia, lamps and alarms clocks for a nice decorative look and feel.

You can think of this particular kind of nightstand (i.e. storage) as a mini chest of drawers or dresser: big enough to store what’s needed but small enough to be space-conservative.

Tip: Don’t forget that when you’re searching for nightstands or bedside tables that end tables (aka side tables) also work. They can be used in areas beyond the living room. So when you’re looking don’t rule out end tables as an option.

Remember before you purchase, that you don’t have to have a set. There are many occasions in which one nightstand compliments a room better than two because it allows for diversity.
