Using a Plastic Storage Cart is another combination method when you want to get rid of an over-sized dresser and use the space for other purposes. Like the other methods, you would combine the use of a storage cart with the use of a closet.

The storage cart would be used primarily to store your undergarments, thereby eliminating the need for a dresser altogether. But unlike the other combo methods, you have two choices…

You could hide the Plastic Storage Cart (wide version) away in a closet or you could place it out in the open in your bedroom. If you do decide to place it out in the open, understand it may not be easy on the eyes. Although, it was created with function in mind, the overall design is fairly dull and not to pleasing to look at.

However, there are cases in which placing it out in the open is the only option. If that is the case, consider that it could be used for more than one purpose. That is, you could use it as a bedside table to store one or two small items on while using it to also take care of those so-called “unmentionables.”
