Invisible Bookcase

The Invisible Bookcase is a wall-mounted bookcase that gives the impression that books are floating in mid-air. Having the ability to be useful in tight spaces along the wall, it may be of great use in home offices, dorm rooms, studio apartments, bedrooms and living rooms.

It’s made out of durable powder coated steel and dimensions are 5.5″W x 5.5″H x 5.25″D. It has the ability to hold up to 15 lbs. and no more than 8 books maximum. However, if you need a tad bit more space, there is also a larger one available, measuring at 7″W x 5.5″H x 6.5″D and it can hold up to 20 lbs and 10 books max.

How it works goes a little something like this: The back cover of the first book slides into the shelf and the remaining books are simply stacked on top.

Hardware is included and it’s recommended that you mount it into a wall stud. However, if wall studs are not of interest self-drilling E-Z Anchors should be sufficient for securing it in drywall. You may purchase E-Z Anchors online or at your local hardware store, such as Home Depot. Link >>
