Small Homes: Linda’s Hannah Montana Bedroom Theme

I think this small bedroom is the best, because it is so in style with Hannah Montana bedspread and accessories. My granddaughter who lives with us enjoys the bedroom every day. She is a Hannah Montana fan. This was her very first bedroom, too. She doesn’t have to share it with anyone or the tv that she watches Hannah Montana shows on. It’s so special!

Highlights of Lindaâs Room…

  • Use a few large pieces.
I really like the cleanliness and simplicity of this room. In terms of saving space, I think most things are quite obvious but one thing worth mentioning is that a few large pieces of furniture were used as compared to a multiple amount of small pieces. If youâve never been told this, decorating a small room with a small amount of large pieces is the best way to go about it.

  • Use pictured balloons.
This is a good idea for a girlâs or boyâs room. Instead of just hanging photos on the wall, like Lindaâs granddaughter, you can also use a pictured balloon as a part of the decor. So, youâre not just relying on the walls to get the job done.

  • Create a collage or photo album bulletin board.
My eyes keep drawing to the bulletin board. I really like how she jazzed it up. And of course this is another thing you can do. Consider the idea of creating a collage of photos and interests by using a bulletin board and pinning them all up. This is a very clutter-free way of handling things. You get to go easy on your wall and yet have a wall-mounted photo album at the same time.

Notice how she pinned the Hannah Montana poster up using the bulletin board. Half of the poster is on the bulletin board and half of it is on the wall. I really like. That, in particular is what catches my attention every time. That and the colorful pig.

Generally I wouldâve never thought to add anything but paper to the bulletin board, but Lindaâs granddaughter added all kinds of miscellaneous things that really make it stand out. This is my favorite idea of all in her room. Way to go!

View a few before and after photos of Autumnâs kitchen in her studio apartment. Here we can see how small changes can make a big difference. She painted her wall and we can also see she hung up some photos to server as a focal point. The orange color with the photos gives her kitchen an “art gallery” look and feel to it and really brings it to life.
