Small Homes: Tucky’s Clever Closet Bedroom
I had an EXTREMELY small bedroom I used to live in. My old bedroom was a closet. Me and my two other roommates moved into a two bedroom apartment with a storage closet which I ended up with for a bedroom. I moved out of my small bedroom just over a month ago.
It had double bi-folding doors, behind one of which was a shelf, and behind the other was a space that went straight back (which you can see in the photo) where my bed went! The space was smaller than a single bed and I had to get my dad to make me a custom bed to fit inside!
I used the hall closet for my clothes. 
It was difficult at times but still awesome. I was kinda sad to leave it but I must admit Iâm happy to have some more space now!
Highlights of Tucky’s Room

Using a storage closet as a bedroom is possible.
I will try to make the highlights of this room short, but I doubt Iâll succeed. Iâll just be repeating what she says but this is a very unique room that deserves some major attention. Tucky got really clever and made a bedroom out of storage closet. If youâre in a similar situation in which you need to room with other people but there arenât enough bedrooms, obviously you could do the same thing if…+) The closet is big enough.
+) You can get your hands on some furniture that will fit in it. -
Combine shelving and photos to spruce it up.
The shelving, the clamp lamp and the custom bed. Need I say more? I will anyway. Theyâre all great tactics. But to pay special attention… notice how she decorated the shelving area behind her bed with a collage of pictures. Good idea right? And it looks really good. Also, she did a great job at making her small space shine by simply arranging a nice collage of photos and posters on her walls as well.Obviously this is a very affordable solution if you have a small bedroom but canât afford to put up expensive posters and framing. Itâs obvious that the reason it looks so good is because she did a fabulous job at arranging them. So, this is something you could also do.

Use a separate closet for to hold clothes.
Although, this isnât a part of the room itself, it joins up with the idea of using a storage closet for a bedroom. And thatâs the clever idea of using a separate closet for your clothes. Tucky used the hall closet, but perhaps in another apartment a different closet, such as a coat closet could be used. Whatever the case, seeing what Tucky did gives you the idea that creating an awesome looking bedroom out of a closet is very possible!AdvertisementGet emailed when updates are added to the website...
