Alternatives: Hanging Plant Dividers

Now this looks really crummy right now, because my kitchen is trashed and this is a project in progress. However, I got excited and just wanted to toss this idea out there in case it helps you out.

The idea is to use hanging plants to create intimacy and warmth in your kitchen–and to divide the kitchen from the other part of the house. This works if you have a small opening in a kitchen that overlooks the living room and you want to add a bit of plant life to your home and have a bit more privacy at the same time.

And of course, let’s not forget decor… plants add astounding beauty to an otherwise plain home.

For me, all of the above applied. And also because I just adore plants. When I go shopping I love to buy new plants and when I dream of the finishing results of my redecorated apartment, I always dream of having a lot of plants around.

Anyway, the goal for this project is to hang plants all the way across my cupboards or add one more along with a decorative wind chime or two. I only have 2 plants hung at the moment but I will keep you posted on the results as I go along or show you the finished results once I’m done. I’ll create a small DIY one how to do this once I’m finished.

But in the meantime maybe this served as inspiration to you?
