Your dust pan can do double-duty in the winter. Of course it will only work if you’re home or if you take it with you. But not only can it help you clear dirt off of the floor but you can also use it to shovel snow off of your car.

I can vouch for this myself. I’ve been using my plastic dust pan to shovel snow off of my car for the last five years. I don’t even own one of those tiny little snow scrapers. They’re too small for my liking and take much longer to get the snow off of the car.

Just make sure if you opt to use a dust pan that you use one that’s plastic. Mines a “Sterlite” dust pan. I wonder why I never took the sticker off that thing…
