A Little Bit About Tameka Norris

Tameka

Hi, my name is Tameka Norris. I am the Founder and President of Furniture for Small Spaces. I’m 31 years old and I’ve lived in small spaces all of my life.

Due to this, over the years I’ve come up with a number of ways on how to save space. This led me to want to start FFSS so that I could share my ideas with others.

However, in spite of the fact that I enjoy working on FFSS I do have other dreams and ambitions.

Some of my goals are as simple as learning PHP in my spare time so that I can improve the site as it continues to grow. Other things I enjoy doing are writing stories, drawing portraits, bible study and reading novels.

From time to time I also write poetry whenever the whim hits me.

But above all else…

Where Does My True Passion Lie?

Truth? I’d like to establish a non-profit organization to help people in need. I hope to offer special housing for people to get off the streets and in the process help people re-establish their lives.

Sometimes one-on-one love is so hard to come by. So I really believe in offering people a family that they can count on in their time of suffering and need.

Who Am I…

Honestly, I love to stay busy. I tend to have a real problem with boredom. I find boredom incredibly painful. So, I prefer to avoid it all costs whenever I can. So, anything of great purpose that I can do in order to keep me from being permanently bored is phenomenal.

I’m self-taught, an entrepreneur and I love doing unconventional things. I enjoy creating avenues of success where there are none. I like to think outside of the box.

I take personal satisfaction in surprising the heck out of people so that they can’t put me in a stereotypical box of what a person with my type of personality, race or looks should be like.

I’m shy, yet fairly social. Deep down inside I love getting to know people, but find my upbringing has hindered me and I have to work a little harder at socializing than others do.

I’m a dreamer and have such a huge sense of wanting to accomplish my dreams that they cause me to step outside of myself to achieve them.

Fear, although it can have a strong presence in my life, is not strong enough to stop me from accomplishing my dreams. I find that my dreams sometimes rule me to a point of fault… so much so that I have to focus to tame them so that I don’t become fanatical.

I’m not only thankful for the good stuff in my life, but the hardships as well… after all aren’t they what shape you into being a better person?

And I can think of plenty of hardships that led me on my continuous pursuit to grow FFSS. And I’m thankful of what it’s become today and we can all use it as a way to turn our small places into beautiful homes.

Anyway, thank you so much for supporting this site and I hope you will continue to accompany me on my journey of success with FFSS.

Best Wishes,

Tameka Norris
