A Little Bit About Shelia Wells

My main focus at the moment is working in the “Furnishing Small Spaces” section. I help her catalog the products and make sure everything is listed appropriately. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my daughter, reading the bible and bowling.
Recently, I purchased a game of chess since I’ve always had a great interest in learning how to play it… so I thought it was about time I taught myself.
On the side, I also enjoy watching TV shows, such as Law and Order, Monk and CSI: Miami.
Gotta love those crime shows.
During the early part of 2007, I lost my job and had to move from North Carolina to Columbus, Ohio. As an older woman, it made me feel as though I’d lost everything. But God has made His plans clear. He has blessed us by turning an unfortunate incident into a fortunate one.
At first, the change was difficult. My daughter and I were stuck in a situation in which it was hard for us to live in such a small place together.
We had different ideas on how to handle certain things and sometimes that caused tension between us. But as time progressed, things got better and God kept encouraging us to strive for the best.
I found another job—one better than my last one, and she kept working hard on her website. I’m now happier than I’ve ever been. I truly enjoy spending my time contributing to FFSS. As I continue to learn new things, my duties as an administrative assistant of the site will continue to grow.
Right now I’m focusing solely on the “Furnishing Small Spaces,” but in the near future I will also be helping my daughter set up her upcoming store. As well, I will be answering customer’s questions, helping them and dealing with orders that come from the site.
A Proud Mother…
I’m a mother like all other mothers. I love to tell others about how proud I am of what my children have accomplished. I’m very proud of my daughter and I fully support FFSS.
It took a lot of preparation and persistence on Tameka’s part. She never gave up and kept pushing forward. It was a long and hard climb for her, but she is almost at the top. She has a lot to be proud of and she is still developing her site to its fullest capacity. Her goal is to buy me a house someday…
I really believe she will do just that.
A Mother’s Memory…
I was talking to my daughter one day and she said, “I believe it’s a child’s duty to make their parents proud. I think all parents should be able to say they are proud of their children. It’s an act that pays great respect to parents. And it’s the one gift that all parents should at least have…”
Well, let me truly say that I am proud of my daughter.
Thanks to all supporters and contributors of FFSS for allowing her dream to thrive and contributing to making a mother very proud.
Best Wishes,
Shelia Wells
